Frequently Asked Questions
How early can I put my tree up?
To increase their odds of survival in the long run, our trees are allowed a maximum of three and a half weeks in a warm indoor environment. While we recognize that this may not be convenient for all, it is necessary to ensure the longevity of the trees.
The trees can be decorated and kept outside earlier.
Is a living pot grown Christmas tree for me?
Living trees can exhibit quirky characteristics and may not meet expectations for perfection and symmetry. Additionally, it's important to note that the trees are potted and contain soil, thus weighing approximately 25kg or more, so make sure you're prepared to carry them as they can be quite heavy.
I am going away for a few days over Christmas, can I still rent one?
The tree requires daily watering as it is a living organism that relies on water even during December and to enhance its chances of survival for years to come. If you cannot arrange for a daily watering routine, we would advise against renting one this year if you're planning to be away. Please bear in mind that the tree is not artificial, it's a live plant and needs water to thrive.
What are my options if I am not satisfied with my tree?
The trees are distinct, living organisms that aren't flawless, but instead possess their own character as they grow naturally in their own unique way.
In the event that you are dissatisfied with the tree or it is somehow damaged, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery/collection and we will work to replace it. If you choose not to receive a replacement but we have already delivered the tree, we will retain the delivery and collection charges.
If you come to one of our hubs to collect a tree and it doesn't meet your expectations, we will refund your payment.
Can the tree be delivered inside my home ?
We’re really sorry but due to the insurance coverage we are not allowed to bring trees into the house but we will bring it to your front door.
Can I put my tree anywhere?
To prevent the tree from experiencing a sudden temperature change, it's advisable to keep it away from any sources of heat that may initiate early spring-like growth. If this happens, the tree will develop new shoots that will be affected when it's eventually relocated to colder temperatures in January. Therefore, it's crucial to take precautions to prevent the tree from a cold shock.
Can I have the same tree next year?
Please inform us if you would like us to reserve the same tree for you next year, and if conditions permit, we will ensure its return. Although the farm makes every effort to maintain the health of all plants, extreme heat may sometimes affect them.
When will the trees be collected ?
The trees will be gathered at the start of January. Kindly specify a date during checkout to facilitate collection. Avoid leaving the trees unattended as others may also collect our trees. The refundable deposit can only be released once the tree has been successfully returned to us.
Why would I loose my deposit?
In the event that the tree appears to be devoid of moisture, in a state of decline, fractured, with trimmed or damaged branches, we retain the right to retain your deposit. Additionally, if the tree is inaccessible for retrieval, we also maintain the right to withhold your deposit.
Can I cancel my order?
Please inform us at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled delivery date if you wish to cancel. If you cancel within the 48-hour window, 75% of the cost will be non-refundable. If you cancel before that, we'll refund the entire amount after deducting our administrative expenses.
Do you rent to businesses?
Yes we are happy to rent to corporate companies, if you are closed over Christmas we will likely need to collect before the Christmas break but this is not a problem just contact us to discuss. However if you have air conditioning or no one to maintain the tree daily this might not be for you.
