I started Living Christmas Tree Hire in 2022, after getting frustrated while passing through the Christmas tree cemetery lining the streets in January.  Witnessing the wastage of so many trees annually for the pleasure of only three weeks, I decided it was time for change. This led to the birth of Living Christmas Tree Hire, which allows the same tree to be used for several years.

It is estimated that 7 million Christmas trees are cut down each year in the UK, taking 6-10 years to grow and only used once.  Sadly, many UK-grown trees are shipped long distances from remote parts of the country.  But don't worry, we have a solution!  Introducing our living pot-grown Christmas trees, available for rent in your local area.  

Our trees are carefully nurtured for the rest of the year meaning they can be used for several years, minimising any negative impact on the environment.  We plan to grow all our trees from small saplings in the future.
